Steady EC FEEDING

Steady EC feeding means keeping the same EC throughout the cycle. The grower varies the amount of actual nutrients delivered to the plant by increasing or decreasing the number of irrigation events throughout the cycle. When managing substrate dry backs properly this can result in “EC stacking” which increases the total available nutrients in the substrate during high-demand periods. Using this method simplifies mixing and reduces chance of error during batch tank preparation.
